The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago. The second best time is now.
Chinese Medicine promotes mind-body connection of the human body and nature. A big part of what we do is at YINA is work with sustainably sourced plant medicine to promote health and wellness.
In face of climate change, trees are more important than ever. Trees are our lungs, they purify pollutants and toxic gases to release clean air for us to breathe. The intricate root systems of mature trees prevent and reduce devastating floods and landslides. Forests are homes to many species of organisms—such as insects, fungi, animals, moss, and other plants.
We source foods, materials, and medicine from trees and forests. Out of more than 12,000 medicinal ingredients documented in Traditional Chinese Medicine texts, a vast majority come in the form of roots, stems, barks, flowers, seeds, and whole plants that depend on trees and forests to exist.
Countless art and poetry are inspired by trees. We rest, play, celebrate, seek shelter, and meet lovers underneath trees. Trees hold many stories and magic.
That's why we are honored to partner with One Tree Planted to support reforestation as part of our commitment to sustainability. Every tree makes a positive impact for nature, wildlife, and people.
One Tree Planted is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to global reforestation. Their mission is to reforest the planet, one tree at a time. They also raise awareness about the importance of trees, offer businesses like ours a simple sustainability solution, and motivate younger generations to do something positive for the environment.
For every order, we will plant a tree through One Tree Planted. Thank you for supporting us and meaningful organizations that help create a brighter, greener, and healthier planet for generations to come.
