Rhodiola has a unique, bitter taste. Bitterness has an important place in our diet, one that pairs well with creamy or sweet things like nut milk or hot chocolate.
Destress Hot Chocolate
Ingredients:
- 1 C milk of choice, warmed
- 2 tbsp drinking chocolate
- ½ tsp Rhodiola powder
- ½ tsp Pearl powder
- 1-2 tsp honey to taste
Preparation: In a saucepan combine the water, milk, and drinking chocolate powder. Whisk until combined and remove from heat before it boils. Add the rhodiola, pearl, and honey. Blend with a hand held milk frother or in a blender. Top with bee pollen or extra chocolate shavings.
Rhodiola powder is particularly sensitive to moisture. Make sure you keep the lid on tight, never use a wet spoon, and try to consume the contents within 2-3 months of opening.
Can be stored in the refrigerator or freezer to help prevent moisture.
