WHAT TO EXPECT
The cream warms as you work it in. With firm strokes, a red-to-purple flush may appear on the body. In TCM this is called 痧 (shā). It is a normal response to body gua sha and usually fades within a few days. With regular practice, skin looks smoother and less puffy and feels softer and more supple.
KEY INGREDIENTS
Buddha's Hand, 佛手 (fóshǒu)
A bright citrus that moves Qi and lifts the forest aroma.
Horsetail, 木贼 (mùzéi)
A wind-dispersing herb, naturally rich in silica, that helps skin look smoother and feel more resilient.
Siler Root, 防风 (fáng fēng)
A classic wind-dispersing root that helps soothe and comfort skin.
Atractylodes, 白术 ( bái zhú)
A rhizome that strengthens Spleen Qi and helps soften and condition skin.
Cinnamon Twig, 桂枝 (guì zhī)
A warming twig that opens the channels and gives the cream its gentle warmth.

This is my first bian stone gua sha tool. There is enough weight to exert a little pressure while scraping yet light enough to control the pressure against the skin. It's comfortable to be held in either hand and glide smoothly when the skin is oiled properly.

Ive ordered the kit for myself as Ive always had an interest. I know that the stone can be pretty expensive and finding a reputable source was important. I took a chance on Yinas gift set and Im learning how to use it through the pamphlet and video,
I use it for better circulation and reduce tightness of neck and shoulders.
Still learning the ropes but I did find some relief using the stone with the guidance of the enclosed pamphlet.
Im glad I invested in the kit, as I see so many benefits for other areas(versatility)

I finally understand the hype. And I'm so surprised at how the body balm leaves my skin smooth and not sticky or oily at all (even in a tropical country!). The gua sha itself feels great, though I have no point of reference but I do feel it is grounding somehow.

I love the smoothness of this gua sha stone against my skin, and its effectiveness in relieving muscle tension on the body. I have only used it on my face, neck and shoulders. It has some weight to it and is on the larger size, so it suits my medium sized hands. Feel very relaxed after using it.

I like using it with gua sha but not sure if balm helps me with inflammation?
